She has extensive experience in positive parenting practices and women's health issues, including post-natal depression and anxiety.

Wendy derives her approach from a range of therapeutic techniques including basic Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Processing (EMDR), Mindfulness Training and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has also formally trained in hypnosis and has continued her professional development in this area. Over the past several years she has trained in Transformational Chair-work therapy, which is incorporated into Schema

Therapy and produces dynamic and successful outcomes. She has also engaged in professional development and has taken a special interest in Neuro-psychology.

The selection of therapy depends on the patient, the diagnosis and the situation. The therapeutic approach is tailored to meet their

specific needs. Wendy is an accredited Triple P practitioner and uses techniques related to attachment theory to help parents with parenting issues. She has incorporated more recent approaches to parenting based on the Whole Brain Child.
